Frances S. Mittiga, 90, passed peacefully Thursday, September 18, 2008.
She was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, aunt, grandma, great-grandma and friend.
She was preceded in death by parents, Frank and Sophie Sadowski; husband, Dominic "Mickey" Mittiga; brothers, John, Eddie, Leo and Bobby Sadowski; sisters, Jennie Joyce, Geg Kubilus, Helen Shirey. Survived by children, Patricia Dougherty, P. David (Gail), Albert (Cindy) and Donald; grandchildren, great- grandchildren and her faithful dog Skippy.
A memorial mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday,
September 22 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 1905 Portage
Trail, Cuyahoga Falls. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Visiting
Nurse Service and Hospice Care, 3358 Ridgewood Road, Akron, Ohio 44333.
