Nancy Mari Bauer (nee Pelligra), 83 years old, a lifelong Akron resident who recently moved to Chagrin Falls, Ohio, passed away Dec. 13, 2006.

She graduated East High School, The University of Akron, and taught grade school at Findley School on North Hill.

Nancy will be remembered for enjoying gardening, cooking, but the love of her life were her grandchildren. While living in Akron she belonged to St. Hilary Catholic Church.

Preceded in death by her parents, Giovanni and Frances; her brother, Benny; and her dear cousin, Al Ciraldo of Atlanta; she will be missed by her husband of 51 years, C. Franklin; her sons, Paul (Francine), Gregg (Susan), Thomas (Judith), Steven and David (Kathy); grandchildren, Samuel, Spencer, Pierce, Nicholas, Carolyn, Brian and Tess. She is also survived by sister-in-law, Betty Pelligra and the Ciraldo Family, including Bob and Helen, Ruth and Louis and Eleanor.

Calling hours Sunday, 2 to 5 p.m. at Dunn-Quigley, Ciriello & Carr, 39 S. Miller Rd., Fairlawn, OH 44333. Mass of Christian Burial 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Hilary Catholic Church, Fairlawn, Ohio. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Akron. A memorial mass will also be celebrated at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 496 East Washington St., Chagrin Falls, at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
