Robert Edward Feeney

Robert E. Feeney "Bob", 58, passed away unexpectedly Feb. 21, 2009.

Bob was born Aug. 27, 1950 in Pittsburgh, Pa. to Mary Louise (Thomas) Feeney and the late George Feeney. Bob proudly served with the Third Marine Division from 1968 to 1971 in Vietnam as a squad leader and "grunt".

Bob is survived by loving and supportive mother, Mary Louise; children, Tara and Scott; brothers, Bill (Marilyn) of Houston, Texas, Keith and Bruce (Viorica) of Akron; two cats, BG and Tiger; and numerous family and friends.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, 1:30 p.m. at HENNESSY-BAGNOLI FUNERAL HOME, 936 N. MAIN ST., AKRON. Visitation will be ONE HOUR PRIOR to service time at the funeral home. Bob's final resting place will be Holy Cross Cemetery where military rites will be conducted by VFW Firestone Post 3383. In lieu of flowers, raise a toast to Bob.
